Plz help pc not booting to windows after downgrading from vista to xp

unknown: It had no sound but worked fine for about 2 weeks or so(without sound) then i installed some sound drivers (the MB disc said “vista drivers inside”) but now it doesn’t want 2 boot in to windows, the case turns on fine but the monitor …
