Unable to install Vista drivers for EPSON Perfection 2400 scanner

I have tried several times to uninstall and reinstall the espon recommended Vista drivers to no avail. I even attempted to install them via the Device Manager wherein the scanner shows under Other Devices and I have Vista scan my …
