Should I download "Drivers and Downloads" shown for my computer?

I’d like to download these upgrades. Is there anything I should be aware of before doing this? Any tips/advice will be appreciated. Thanks. Barbara Dell XPS 410 Intel Core 2 CPU Windows Vista Ultimate 2 MB Memory 2 250GB.
